These beautiful humans met when Philip was a student at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Devon had just moved to Colorado and spent many weekends with her aunt and uncle who lived in the Springs--they also happened to be Philip's assigned Air Force sponsor family. Over many Dallas Cowboy Football games and family outings the two fell deeply in love. While getting to know one another they discovered that they grew up relatively close to each other in New York and New Jersey, and actually had common friends and acquaintances. As fate would have it, they traveled across the country to meet each other right here in Colorado.

About the Wedding

Devon and Philip were married at Lunch Rock, one of the beautiful lodges at Winter Park. They chose to get married at this Colorado ski resort because they wanted to share the beauty of Colorado with their East Coast families. Their guests arrived at the venue via ski lift—a truly one-of-a-kind experience for many of them. Through their wedding film you can experience all the perfect details and hear their personally written vows the way they shared them on their wedding day. Being an active duty military couple is not easy—it’s not easy on your mental health, it’s not easy moving frequently, or facing the possibility of fighting overseas. But, no matter where they are, or how long they must be apart, they are constant, unconditional home for each other. This film depicts what home means for Devon and Philip.
