What if we thought about your wedding as an experience?

A day of adventuring that sets the tone for the rest of your lives together. You and your partner, maybe some close friends and family, surrounded by rare beauty that you can only find by taking that first step into nature. What does it sound like? What does it feel like?

We joined our friends Liz & Joe

well before sunrise when we began their adventure elopement. Together we hiked out to a vantage point deep in the Maroon Bells wilderness, before Liz & Joe gazed upon each other for the first time in wedding dress for their first-light first look.

The couple spent nearly 15 minutes together during their first look, really taking in the experience that was unfolding for their wedding day. We continued our hike until we arrived at Crater Lake, where they exchanged their wedding vows beneath the towering Maroon Bells and the roar of water cascading into the lake from across the valley. The time was 8:30 am, and we were the only souls to be found.

We felt like we hired one of our best friends. Steven’s enthusiasm really sets him apart from others and you can truly feel his genuine excitement for what he does...Steven captured the raw emotion that we felt on this special day.

// Peace of mind knowing that you have the permits you need to experience your elopement day.

// The sweet tunes that Steven usually brings along on your hike, and dancing to your first dance together after your ceremony!

// Laughing together and being silly as we ask you to do goofy things for your couple photos and video. We hate boring so we leave that to other photographers!

// NO STRESS that comes from experiencing a well-planned elopement day with time built in for hiking, resting, playing, driving and vowing!

They were flexible and stayed longer when things ran late and my wedding guests truly thought they were friends of ours attending the wedding.

Steven made us feel sooooo comfortable while getting footage. He walked in and immediately brought this energy that was contagious.
